Java Developer

As part of a collaborative engineering team, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable software products, contributing to technical decisions, and helping deliver high-quality solutions that support ongoing business growth., As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting business-critical applications using Java. You’ll work closely with fellow developers, technical stakeholders, and product teams to deliver robust software solutions while contributing to engineering best practices.

Over time, there may also be opportunities to gain exposure to additional technologies including C# and Perl., * Design, develop and maintain software components based on business requirements.

• Contribute to technical discussions and support solution design activities.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable code in line with engineering standards.
• Provide 3rd Line production support and help resolve issues within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve application issues.
• Support deployment, release, and integration activities.
• Identify technical risks and escalate concerns where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development function.
