Job description

The candidate will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to ensure highly available, secure, and scalable network environments., * Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
Design and manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IS-IS.
Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, VXLAN, STP, VRF, HSRP/VRRP, EtherChannel, and QoS.
Manage enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and Internet connectivity.
Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
Work with security teams on network segmentation, firewall policies, ACLs, and Zero Trust architecture.
Implement and support Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, or equivalent data-center networking technologies.
Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and utilization.
Troubleshoot complex network outages and performance issues.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
Design highly available network solutions using redundancy and failover mechanisms.
Support cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Automate network configuration and operational tasks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
Develop network standards, diagrams, documentation, and operational procedures.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, data-center implementations, and infrastructure transformation projects.
Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical leadership.
