Job description
Dark Wolf is seeking a Technical Program Manager to be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering complex engineering and technical initiatives for our commercial and defense customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of program execution, cybersecurity, and technical delivery, as well as experience in guiding cross-functional engineering teams, managing technical risks, and translating mission requirements into scalable operational solutions., * Drive and oversee program and project execution, technical delivery, and milestone management across software, hardware, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Work with customers, government stakeholders, and internal project team members to understand mission requirements and translate them into actionable engineering tasks and delivery roadmaps
- Develop and maintain program management artifacts, risk management registers, resource allocations, and budget tracking tools
- Coordinate and direct multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including software, cloud, and security specialists, to meet technical objectives
- Ensure technical solutions align with security best practices and federal compliance guidelines throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, defense frameworks, and industry trends and their applicability to the Public Sector space
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in program or project management for Senior Associate level, 8 years for Principal level or higher
- 3 years of experience leading technical engineering teams, 5 years for Principal level or higher
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, systems engineering, and modern technology paradigms
- Experience leading technical teams including delegating tasks, reviewing deliverables, and coaching team members
- Experience managing program budgets, resource allocation, and risk management across technical portfolios
- Experience developing program management plans, driving operational decisions, developing documentation artifacts, and presenting technical briefs to clients and executive level leaders
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Agile delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the broader team as well as independently
- US Citizenship and ability to maintain Secret clearance, * At least one Google Cloud Professional Certification
- Experience working with customers in the U.S. Public Sector, Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC)
- U.S. Federal Government security clearance
- Experience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or FedRAMP
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Technical background or operational familiarity with cybersecurity platforms, cloud architecture, or autonomous systems
Benefits & conditions
The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 commensurate on years of experience and technical interview.
