Assistant Professor of Data Analytics (Tenure Track) - Department of Data Analytics, Gary W.

Qualified applicants must possess, or complete by August 2027, a doctoral degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited business school , as well as demonstrated potential for high-quality scholarly research.

Applicants should also have demonstrated teaching ability in undergraduate and/or graduate courses using a variety of instructional modalities, including online instruction.

Primary teaching responsibilities are expected to include undergraduate and graduate courses in Database Management Systems, Data Warehousing, Big Data Technologies, and related data engineering topics. Experience or interest in teaching courses in Artificial Intelligence, programming, and other areas of data analytics is desirable .

The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Data Analytics beginning August 2027 .

Responsibilities include teaching nine credit hours per semester, conducting research leading to quality refereed journal publications and conference presentations, and providing service at the Department, College, and/or University level.
