Who we are.What we do.Revise detenidamente toda la documentación de la solicitud antes de hacer clic en el botón de solicitar al final de esta descripción.We are Bystronic - a global technology company passionate about creating an impact for a sustainable future with sheet metal and beyond.We want to work with people who support us in creating innovative solutions to move our industry forward.Our focus is on automating the complete material and data flow of the laser cutting and bending process chain.In a nutshellWe are looking for an IT Manager to join our team and lead critical IT operations, ensuring system performance, security, compliance, and the timely delivery of technology solutions.What drives this departmentA collaborative and detail-oriented environment where IT operations, infrastructure, and continuous improvement initiatives play a critical role in supporting business decisions and ensuring reliable and secure technology services across the organizationWhat you will be doing:IT Strategy & InnovationDefine and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and Group standards.Identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and process improvement.Manage IT budget and investment business cases, and participate in international Group committees.Architecture & InfrastructureDesign and evolve scalable, secure IT architectures across hybrid cloud, on-premise, and SaaS environments.Define infrastructure standards and lead cloud adoption (Azure), ensuring integration with corporate platforms.Oversee Business Continuity, backup, and disaster recovery strategiesGroup Integration (Bystronic HQ)Act as the main IT liaison between local operations and Group IT in Switzerland.Ensure compliance with corporate security frameworks (ISO **, GDPR, etc.).Lead integration of enterprise systems (ERP, IAM, collaboration tools) and coordinate audits and global transformation initiatives.IT Operations & Service DeliveryOversee IT operations including Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and DevOps support environments.Manage vendors, SLAs, and escalated incidents, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and operational continuity.Cybersecurity & GovernanceDefine and implement cybersecurity strategies, including identity management, access control, and incident response.Maintain risk and asset governance frameworks, ensure ISO ** compliance, and promote security awareness across the organization..What you need to succeed:Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics).Advanced level of English (spoken and written), essential for communication and negotiation with Bystronic Group.Proven experience in designing cloud and hybrid architectures, as well as governance of complex infrastructures.Solid knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (ISO *****, GDPR, NIS2).Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.Experience in IT project management and working with international vendors.Willingness to travel occasionally to Bystronic Group headquarters in Switzerland.Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work autonomouslyWhat’s in it for you:Permanent contract.Multidisciplinary teams with a variety of skills, perspectives, and backgrounds working in small tribes using agile methodologies.Individual learning & development programs, including language courses, Microsoft certifications, and participation in technical conferences .Salary and benefits aligned with the market and your experience .People power our purposeImagine working in an environment that helps take the company to the next level, where your passion, values, and skills truly matter.At Bystronic, this can become your reality.Our people are the advantage that fuels and sustains our ambitions and long-term success.Together, we have created a culture where employees are at the center, inspiring us to make decisions that best serve and align with our purpose.As much as we are a technology-driven business, real change is driven by people.xqysrnhInterested?Does this challenge appeal to you?Then we look forward to meeting you!You can submit your application at
