Job description

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles., * Design,develop,test,deploy,andsupport scalable software and data solutions thatenablecommercialbankingandtreasurymanagementcapabilities.

  • Buildandmaintain data pipelines, APIs, microservices, integrations, and reporting solutions thatimprovedataaccessibility,quality,andperformance.
  • Collaboratewith product owners, business stakeholders, architects, data analysts, and platform teams totranslatebusinessneedsintoreliabletechnicalsolutions.
  • Develop secure, maintainable, and high-quality code followingenterpriseengineeringstandards,codingbestpractices,andsoftwaredesignprinciples.
  • Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, production support, performance tuning, and resiliency improvements acrossapplicationsanddataplatforms.
  • Participatein architecture reviews, technical design discussions, code reviews, test strategy development, and Agile delivery planning .
  • Support technology modernization initiatives ,includingcloudadoption,automation,DevOpsenablement,vulnerabilityremediation,andplatformoptimization.
  • Continuouslyidentifyopportunitiestoimprove system performance, operational efficiency, data reliability, developer productivity, and client outcomes ., * Experiencedeveloping APIs, microservices, data pipelines, integrations, distributed applications, and reporting solutions inlarge-scaleenvironments.
  • Expertisewith relational databases, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and data quality management .
  • Hands-onexperiencewith CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control, automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps engineering practices .
  • Knowledgeof cloud platforms, containerization technologies, monitoring tools, automation frameworks, and platform observability solutions .
  • Understandingof secure software development, access controls, vulnerability management, resiliency patterns, and regulatory compliance requirements .
  • Familiaritywith commercial banking, treasury management, payments, receivables, transaction processing, reporting, or entitlement data domains .
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset ,withafocusonquality,continuousimprovement,deliveryexcellence,andbusinessimpact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to six years of relevant experience

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
