Job description
Work in a small software team on scientific instrumentation software projects, They currently have a small software team and are looking for a senior / mid-level software engineer to join them. Responsibilities will include design and development of data collection and analysis software, contributing to instrument control, debugging embedded software, and provide relevant testing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics or other related discipline.
- Demonstrable industry project experience in software engineering including the successful delivery of hardware-related instrumentation products to market.
- Wide range of technical competence in programming including C#, MVVM, and C++. This should include application software for both Windows and Linux. Additonal experience with Python, and TypeScript would be advantageous.
- Any experience with image processing, Java or machine learning would be desirable.
About the company
This role is based fully onsite at their offices in Royston including parking and are within walking distance of the local train station.
