Senior Data Management Professional - Data Product Owner - Futures & Options

The Content Acquisition (CA) team is an integral part of the Data department. We are responsible for managing, acquiring, and integrating content and data from exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other types of providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream enterprise products. We lead the governance, cost, and quality of the data we acquire, and we collaborate with the wider company to develop our data acquisition strategies ensuring we are aligning with the agendas of our key partners. The Role: As a Senior Data Management Professional with the Exchanges & Venues team, you will define and implement data-driven strategies to acquire new content sets and maximize the value of our existing datasets, ensuring they are high quality, commercially impactful, and aligned with evolving client needs. Using your deep knowledge of Futures & Options markets, you will design and manage initiatives that expand and enhance our product offering, identify gaps, and address emerging use cases. You will collaborate closely with internal partners and senior leaders to drive customer-centric outcomes, proactively manage content investments, and mobilize cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives. Instinctively curious and strategically minded, you will build strong internal networks, communicate clear and coordinated updates, and translate vision into measurable results across regions in a fast-moving, complex market environment. We’ll trust you to: Set and prioritize data-driven strategies and targets to discover and acquire new datasets and track progress in achieving these goalsBuild relationships with key internal partners and decision-makers, to understand and align closely with their prioritiesEnsure existing datasets are fit-for-purpose, accessible and usable in order to increase the return on our investment in onboarding the contentLead and implement Data Quality projects based on evolving business prioritization and commercial landscapesLead campaigns across Exchange & Venues to mobilize the wider team of Relationship Managers and Technical Account Managers Identify and close gaps in existing product offerings and expand to account for emerging client use casesAct as an ambassador for the Futures & Options content that drives our product, and as a representative for the Content Acquisition team throughout the companyYou’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM or degree-equivalent

qualifications4+ years of experience* in financial markets and deep understanding of Futures & Options markets including market structure, the latest market trends and the competitive landscapeExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex functions, geographies, and seniority levelsProven ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes and actionable goals for regional teamsDemonstrated ability to drive cross-regional execution, alignment, and strategic communicationStrategic approach with a bias for action, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in fast-moving markets;Excellent written and verbal communication skillsIf indicated, please note that years of experience are a guide; we will consider applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
