Job description
Our Business Intelligence team is growing, and we’re looking for an outstanding Business Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our team. Data is at the core of everything that Huntington does, and the Business Intelligence team acts as the guardians of its integrity, and how it can be best used to make decisions throughout the business. Our goal is to be the Best performing Regional Bank in America, and we need data and analytics to meet that goal., As we advance our data and analytics capabilities, we want individuals interested in providing strategic, analytical, and technical support for business intelligence activities. The senior analyst leverages data to gain key insight into business opportunities, and effectively presents these insights to business stakeholders. The senior analyst is also heavily involved with the distribution and successful delivery of all BI reports., *
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and data models that provide clear, actionable insights for business partners.
- Develop accurate, scalable, and user-friendly reporting solutions using Power Query, DAX, data relationships, measures, and visualization best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, document metric logic, and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.
- Connect, transform, validate, and troubleshoot data from enterprise sources, including SharePoint, Excel, Salesforce, SQL/database sources, Snowflake, Dataverse, and other Power Platform tools.
- Administer Power BI Service activities, including workspace organization, app publishing, scheduled refreshes, access management, dataset issue resolution, and report distribution.
- Analyze and resolve data quality issues, refresh failures, report discrepancies, and performance concerns to support timely and accurate BI delivery.
- Prepare clear documentation, summaries, and communication materials that explain report logic, key findings, and recommended actions.
- Promote BI tool adoption by supporting users, sharing best practices, and serving as a liaison between the BICoE pod, business partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, strengthen data governance, increase automation, and enhance overall BI delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned., Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Remote roles will also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of data analysis experience.
- 4+ years of related experience involving data analysis tools and techniques, writing software requirements and test specifications, using data to drive business decisions, and working with BI and other tooling (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake), * Strong Power BI experience, including Power Query, DAX, data modeling, dashboard design, publishing, refresh management, and Power BI Service.
- Experience building reporting solutions for operational, sales, financial, or performance management use cases.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear reporting requirements, KPIs, data models, and dashboard visuals.
- Knowledge of data quality controls, source-to-report validation, metric definitions, and reporting governance.
- Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, Snowflake, SQL, Excel-based datasets, Dataverse, or other enterprise data sources preferred.
- Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, or Fabric certifications preferred, including PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, PL-400, PL-900, or DP-600.
