Your next challengeCobee by Pluxeeis changing how it builds its data model.Instead of a centralised team building global entities, each product domain will own and maintain its own data layer.Youll be one of the engineers making that shift happen.As anAnalyst Engineer, youll embed in a product domain and build the transformation layer between raw data and business consumption.Youll take Bronze data and turn it into a reliable, well-tested Silver layer, applying the same discipline to data models that a software engineer applies to application code.Your output isnt insights or reports.Its production-grade models other teams can depend on.Youll work closely with the product team in your domain, coordinate with centralised Data Engineers on upstream changes, and take part in the Data Council, the cross-domain group that keeps standards consistent as the distributed model scales.?What you’ll be doingAs an Analyst Engineer, you will:Build and maintainproduction-grade data modelsfollowing industry best practices and established data engineering standards.Design stable and well-structureddata schemaswith clear naming conventions, defined granularity and documented business logic.Implementautomated data quality controls, including tests, validations, and business-rule checks as part of the development lifecycle.Monitor and maintaindata reliability, proactively identifying and resolving data quality, freshness, and performance issues.Managedata model evolutionthrough versioning, change management, and clear communication with downstream consumers.Work within amodern software engineering workflowusing Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto ensure data solutions align with business requirements and organizational standards.Contribute todata governance initiatives, promote best practices, and share knowledge across teams.? You’re a matchSolidSQL skills,includingwindow functions, CTEs, incremental processing patterns, and optimization techniques.Hands-on experience withdbt, including modeling, testing, documentation, macros, and package management.Strong understanding ofdata modeling concepts, such as dimensional modeling, schema design, snapshotting, and incremental approaches.A software engineering workflow:git, pull requests, and CI/CD for data, treating dbt models as production code.Familiarity withdata qualityframeworks, monitoring, observability, and anomaly detection practices.Ability totranslate business requirementsinto scalable and maintainable data models and data products.Experienceworking in cross-functional teamsand communicating technical decisions clearly to non-data engineers.Experience withClickHouseis a plus.You’ll thrive in this role if you’re comfortable communicating in English and Spanish, enjoy collaborating with multicultural teams, and are motivated by solving complex data challenges in a global environment.?
