Full-Stack Developer - CRM Platform

We run two CRM platforms and a mobile app, and we’re hiring one developer to own them end-to-end - code, deploys, infrastructure, and day-to-day reliability. You’ll work directly with the founder. No layers, no committees. You ship., * Internal CRM (V1) - our production system used daily by our team. TypeScript/React frontend, Node.js/tRPC backend, MySQL on Drizzle ORM. Hosted on Cloudflare Pages + AWS EC2 via Coolify. You’ll fix bugs reported by the team, build new features, and keep it stable.

• Multi-tenant SaaS CRM (V2) - Next.js 16 on Vercel, Supabase Postgres. Trade-agnostic platform we sell to other companies. You’ll keep this strictly trade-agnostic and build it toward feature parity with V1.
• Mobile app
• Infrastructure - Coolify on AWS EC2, S3 backups, MySQL, Cloudflare, Vercel, Supabase, Hetzner VPS, QuickBooks + Gmail + Stripe integrations. When deploys fail, you fix them. When prod is slow, you fix it., * We use TypeScript across the stack - React on the frontend, Node/tRPC on the backend, Drizzle ORM with MySQL. Of those four, which do you have the deepest experience in, and which is the weakest? Be honest. (We’re not filtering on a perfect score - we’re filtering on whether you know yourself.)
• When a customer reports a bug - say, “I sent an email and the link didn’t show up” - what are the first three things you do, in order? You can answer in bullet form.
• Have you used AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot in your actual day-to-day work? If yes, describe one specific task where AI assistance saved you significant time, and one where it led you in the wrong direction.
• We deploy via Coolify on an AWS EC2 instance. You may or may not have used Coolify before. Either way: when a deploy fails with pnpm: command not found in the install phase, what’s your debugging approach? Walk me through your thinking.
• What’s your hourly rate expectation, and what does “full-time” mean to you in terms of weekly hours? (We’re posting $30-$40/hr range. Tell us where in that range you’d want to land and why.)

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * You can read an unfamiliar codebase and ship a fix in a day, not a week.

• Strong TypeScript. Comfortable across React, Node, and SQL.
• You’ve shipped production code that real users depend on - and you know what “production-grade” actually means (logs, error handling, rollback plans, no dropped requests).
• You’ve touched the deploy/infra side before. Docker, environment variables, CI logs, build failures - these don’t scare you.
• You communicate clearly in writing and in person. When something’s blocked or unclear, you say so early.
• You’re comfortable with AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, Copilot). We use these heavily.

Nice to have

• React Native / Expo experience.
• Next.js + Supabase or Vercel deploy experience.
• Integration work with QuickBooks, Stripe, or Gmail APIs.
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience.

• Not a remote job. You’ll be in our Van Nuys office.
• Not a code-monkey role. You’ll make architectural calls and own outcomes.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
