Job description

Develop and apply data science and machine learning solutions to industrial datasets.
Perform data exploration, manipulation, statistical analysis and modelling using Python.
Design and implement effective feature engineering approaches.
Perform model selection, hyperparameter optimisation and evaluation.
Work with data and ML workloads within Microsoft Azure.
Apply data/software engineering principles to build robust and maintainable solutions.
Support data quality, governance and effective use of data across projects.
Collaborate with engineering, data and business stakeholders in an international environment.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist.
Extensive hands-on Python experience for data manipulation, analysis and modelling.
Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Data Science concepts.
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of feature engineering and hyperparameter optimisation.
Good understanding of statistical analysis.
Understanding of data/software engineering principles.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.
Previous exposure to industrial data science environments.
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
