This role blends systems administration with engineering, giving you ownership across cloud and on-prem environments, enterprise applications, automation, and security compliance.
You’ll work closely with IT Support, Security, and Engineering to keep our internal systems reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals. The work is both hands-on and strategic: you’ll contribute to the performance, security, and maturity of our internal technology ecosystem. You’re also expected to leverage AI tools to streamline automation, scripting, and troubleshooting as part of your everyday workflow.

- Mentor and guide the IT team on complex infrastructure and systems issues
- Design and configure scalable, secure infrastructure across on-premises and cloud-based environments
- Administer and maintain enterprise systems, servers, and user environments, applying regular updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure reliability and uptime
- Monitor system health and performance, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
- Manage identity and access control systems, including SSO and MFA configurations, and ensure systems and endpoints comply with security policies
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate workflows, monitoring, and routine operations, connecting enterprise SaaS applications with each other and internal tools via APIs
- Support infrastructure automation to improve repeatability, efficiency, and scale, including CI/CD practices for internal tools where applicable
- Implement and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems, ensuring recovery plans are documented and regularly validated
- Document system configurations, SOPs, upgrade paths, and troubleshooting procedures, and identify opportunities for process optimization
- Take part in the team’s on-call schedule, providing incident response support for our IT and Security departments as required
*Duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. Responsibilities may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer., * Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting, or automation workflows
- Vendor management experience, including working with third-party providers to ensure solutions meet internal standards
