Job description

Senior Software Data Quality Engineer needed for a fully remote U.S.-based opportunity supporting innovative veterinary healthcare technology initiatives. This remote Data Quality Engineer position combines automation testing, Python development, SQL data validation, and cloud-based data quality engineering to ensure the reliability of critical clinical data platforms, machine learning solutions, and enterprise data pipelines., * Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for data platforms, pipelines, and integrations.

  • Validate machine learning and rules-based classification applications.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and test environments.
  • Perform automation, exploratory, system, integration, user interface, and data quality testing.
  • Participate in Agile planning, Scrum ceremonies, and technical strategy discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple remote locations.
  • Assess and communicate testing results, quality metrics, and potential risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase testing efficiency, consistency, and predictability.
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of core clinical data assets., The team follows Scrum development practices and values collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. Quality engineering plays a critical role in ensuring successful delivery of scalable software and data solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, and data science functions to support the development of reliable, high-quality clinical insights products., Professionals with backgrounds in Software Quality Engineering, QA Automation, Data Quality Engineering, Data Testing, Python development, SQL development, cloud technologies, data pipeline validation, machine learning testing, GitHub Actions, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Agile development will find an opportunity to apply and expand their expertise in a technically challenging environment.
