Job description

We are working with a large international business expanding its IT Operations function.This is a strong opportunity for a junior engineer to build hands-on experience supporting highly available NoSQL databases within a modern, global technology environment.¿Es usted el candidato adecuado para esta oportunidad?Asegúrese de leer la descripción completa a continuación.The role:Support the full lifecycle of NoSQL databases, from deployment and configuration through to monitoring, optimisation and upgradesHelp maintain reliable, scalable database clusters across containerised and traditional environmentsBuild monitoring, alerting and automation to improve database performance and reduce manual workAssist with incident response, capacity planning, documentation and disaster-recovery readinessCollaborate with SRE, platform engineering and application teams on database-related projectsWhat we’re looking for:2+ years’ experience in IT Operations, SRE, database administration or infrastructure engineeringHands-on exposure to at least one NoSQL technology, such as MongoDB, Cassandra or ElasticsearchGood Linux administration and scripting skills, ideally Python and/or ShellFamiliarity with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar automation toolsExposure to Docker and/or KubernetesUnderstanding of monitoring, troubleshooting and performance xbhjioe optimisation in distributed systemsStrong problem-solving skills, clear communication and a willingness to learnCloud certifications or knowledge of SQL databases would be beneficialWhat’s on offer:Competitive salaryHybrid working model (2 days in office Madrid or Malaga)Paid certificationsHealth insurance (whole family)Gym membershipAnd much more!
