Remote- Senior Full Stack Developer (API/ Python)

An employer is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to aid in engineering the client’s core AI SAAS platform. This AI software company offers SaaS solutions that evaluate pet x-rays and determine results using AI components. The company was recently acquired by a larger, veterinarian company that owns/ operates 1000+ clinics/ hospitals around the nation. The heavy focus for this role will be building back end integrations, APIs and services to integrate the platform with new 3rd party applications. You will also be tasked with platform enhancements, customizations, and additional functionality. You will own the full life cycle of the development efforts including discovery, engineering, QA, and deployment to production. Additional tasks will include owning the overall delivery of the application, partner with the parent company’s engineer teams to align on priorities, and drive overall process improvement.

7-10 years experience in full stack software engineering

Heavy background in back end services, integrations/ API development

Well versed with React/ Typescript for front end development

Well versed in AI tooling for development (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Aider, etc.)

Strong GraphQL API and PostgresSQL/ Redis skills

Start up experience building greenfield applications- gathering requirements/ discovery through deployment and production

Strong software QA skills

Well versed in AWS

Bachelor’s in computer engineering Experience building AI software
