As an Engineering Manager, App Technology, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions for Aritzia’s Mobile App. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Digital Product Management, Digital Design, Omni, Enterprise Technology, Data & Analytics, and Marketing. The Engineering Manager, App Technology has: Proven and best-in-class skills in React Native app development, as well as experience leading and overseeing developers & QA/QE/SDET Strong proficiency in React Native, experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and integrations with eCommerce-specific challenges (catalogs, search, cart, checkout flows) Working knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, APIs, databases) to guide architecture and review code Experience with commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) Understanding of testing strategies and ability to ensure robust test coverage Familiarity with payment integrations, inventory management, SEO, and customer experience optimization Knowledge of app performance optimization and conversion rate principles Proven ability to lead and mentor developers and QA engineers, with experience in resource planning and sprint management Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and make decisions under pressure A growth mindset with enthusiasm for leadership development, strategic thinking, and building inclusive, high-performing teams A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy. The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 USD per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
