Job description

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright Build robust, scalable, and reusable test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
Perform test planning, test case design, and defect tracking

Ensure test coverage for:

Functional testing
Regression testing
Cross-browser testing
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution
Lead automation best practices and mentor junior QA engineers
Improve test performance, stability, and execution time
Contribute to shift-left testing and promote a quality-first culture
AI-Driven Testing Responsibilities
Leverage AI/ML tools to enhance test creation, execution, and maintenance
Utilize AI-assisted test generation and self-healing automation techniques
Identify opportunities to apply AI for intelligent test prioritization and risk-based testingIntegrate AI-powered testing tools (e.g., test analytics, anomaly detection, flakiness detection) into QA workflows

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering
Strong experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred)Hands-on experience with:
Web automation testing frameworks
REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
Solid programming skills in:
TypeScript / JavaScript
(Optional: Python / Java / C#)
Experience with CI/CD tools:
Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Strong understanding of:
Software testing methodologies
Agile/Scrum development processes
Test lifecycle management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Playwright reports)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (k6, JMeter)
Experience with containerization (Docker)Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
Experience testing microservices architectures
AI / Advanced Testing (Preferred)
Experience with AI-driven testing tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools, Mabl, Functionize)
