Job description

  • Build tailored Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions that keep modern banks running smoothly
  • Write and run thorough unit tests to ensure your code is rock solid and reliable
  • Share your knowledge and offer practical guidance on implementing best practices
  • Own key configuration tasks that ensure our solutions are optimized, stable, and aligned with client needs
  • Analyze change requests and defects, and turn them into opportunities to make the system better and more efficient

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful API microservices using Java, Spring, Maven and OpenAPI 3
  • Strong understanding of core Java concepts
  • Solid understanding of Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data (JPA/Hibernate), and Spring Security (OAuth 2.0)
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
  • Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
  • Knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures
  • Familiarity with asynchronous messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)
  • Experience in the digital industry, ideally within banking, insurance, financial services, or management consulting
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is highly valued
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Front-end development experience with frameworks such as Angular or React is highly valued
