You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related subject? In your new role you will:

  • Assist with setup and operation of test equipment
  • Support with designing PCBs for different power converters
  • Collect and analyze data from experiments
  • Handle troubleshooting of technical issues and identify solutions
  • Create and review documentation
  • Conduct simulation studies of power electronic circuits

Requirements

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of software tools such as LTspice or SIMetrix, Plecs or MATLAB - Simulink, Altium and similar, is advantageous
  • Basic mechanical and soldering skills required
  • Familiarity with power electronics and measurement equipment in lab environment is a plus
  • Motivation to grow into a long-term role at Infineon Technologies Austria AG (>2 year horizon)
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
