Senior Front-End Engineer

• Building and maintaining high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Taking ownership of front-end architecture and making decisions around scalability, performance and maintainability
• Working closely with Product and Design to turn concepts into polished user experiences
• Developing reusable components and improving the overall front-end ecosystem
• Integrating APIs and collaborating closely with back-end engineers
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and continuously improving the user experience
• Contributing to code reviews, testing and engineering best practices
• Helping less experienced developers grow through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
• Staying curious about new technologies and finding practical ways to introduce them into the development process

• Several years of professional experience in front-end engineering
• Strong expertise in React
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript
• A solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and development practices
• Experience building scalable and performant web applications
• Good understanding of state management, API integration and testing
• Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD practices
• An eye for detail and a genuine interest in creating great user experiences
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

AI is a big plus and they are particularly interested in engineers who are already experimenting with Agentic AI and AI-assisted development. Hands-on experience with tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex would be a significant advantage.

We’re working with a growing gaming company in Brussels, looking to strengthen its engineering team with a Senior Front-End Engineer (React).

They are working with a modern technology stack and is looking for an experienced engineer who can contribute not only through code, but also through technical decisions, architecture and the way the team builds products.

You will take ownership of the development and evolution of the company’s web-based gaming products. You will work closely with product and other engineers to turn ideas into scalable experiences for players. There is plenty of room for technical input, so this is not simply a role focused on delivering tickets.
