Job description

  1. We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Integration Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex system integrations across our enterprise landscape.
  2. In this role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity between our core systems, including cloud-based platforms, legacy applications, ERPs, and third-party vendor solutions.
  3. You will lead a team of integration developers and collaborate closely with enterprise architects, business analysts, and project managers to build scalable, secure, and robust middleware solutions.
  4. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in API-led connectivity, a strong background in leading technical teams, and a strategic mindset to future-proof our integration architecture.

Your Role

  1. End-to-End Integration Architecture: Own the integration patterns (IDoc, RFC, SFTP, APIs) and maintain accurate dataflow maps between the new RISE Private Cloud and all on premise/SaaS satellite systems.
  2. Interface Remediation: Manage the complete “Inventory of Non-SAP Interfaces.” Coordinate directly with third party vendors (e.g., WMS, EDI, Banks) to successfully update IP addresses, DNS records, and routing parameters.
  3. Hybrid Connectivity Execution: Implement the connectivity tools (e.g., SAP Cloud Connector) and ensure all required firewall rules and ports are successfully opened and tested between Customer’s corporate network and SAP RISE.
  4. File Transfer Modernization: Adapt legacy file-based interfaces (e.g., AL11, local OS directories, or SMB/NFS mapped drives) to function securely in the cloud environment, transitioning them to SFTP or Azure Blob storage as required.
  5. Security & Standards Compliance: Ensure all modified interfaces strictly adhere to customer’s enterprise architecture (EA) and cybersecurity policies, validating data encryption and secure authentication methods.

Requirements

  1. Experience in software engineering and systems integration, with at least few years in a technical leadership or integration architect role.
  2. Integration Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience building, deploying, and managing APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), Webhooks, EDI, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
  3. Middleware Platforms: Proven proficiency with top-tier integration platforms (iPaaS/ESB) such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, SnapLogic, or similar enterprise tools.
  4. Data Formats: Mastery of data transformation and formatting languages (XML, JSON, YAML, XSLT, DataWeave).
  5. DevOps & CI/CD: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for integration code deployment, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
  6. Communication: Strong ability to translate complex integration patterns into easily understandable concepts for business stakeholders and project managers.

Preferred

  1. Certifications: Professional certifications in Cloud platforms (SAP Cloud platform, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  2. Cloud Experience: Experience architecting integrations in cloud-native environments, including serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  3. Methodology: Strong background in Agile/Scrum development methodologies and leading sprint-based delivery.
