INDIA - Workday Financial Consultant (Functional)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financials Functional Consultant with deep expertise across the Record-to-Report (R2R) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Customer-to-Cash (C2C) business processes. We are looking for two individuals, one that will help support production issues and the other will support client lead engagement. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to Finance stakeholders, leading Workday Financials configuration, production support, enhancements, and optimization initiatives while ensuring alignment with accounting and financial reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Workday Financial Management, financial operations, reporting, business process design, and post-production support in complex enterprise environments.

We need you to have experience in R2R, P2P, or C2C. In this role you will also be responsible for the following:

• Manage full lifecycle production support activities.
• Triage and resolve incidents, defects, and enhancement requests within SLA timelines.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
• Coordinate system testing, deployment, and migration activities.
• Support Workday bi-annual releases including impact assessments, testing, and adoption of new features.

• strong understanding of Finance Modules and Financial Reporting.
• Experience in Workday Production Support and full support lifecycle of Tickets handling, addressing queries, meeting SLA’s, deploying configurations
• Strong understanding of Workday Finance best practices, business processes, and reporting (calculated fields are a plus).
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Independently manage project tasks based on skills, experience, and growth areas.
• Ensure accurate deliverables and timely task completion
• Act as an SME to provide required guidance to the team members in need

• Analyze client requirements for Workday Financial Management and translate them into functional designs and configuration decisions.
• Configure and test Workday business processes in partnership with onsite and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to delivery of effective Workday solutions by coordinating with stakeholders, documenting requirements, and supporting quality outcomes
