Job description
We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
- Execute automated and manual test cycles, document results, and log defects in the tracking system
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test failures
- Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, daily standups, and other Agile team activities
- Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and traceability records
- Report test coverage, testing outcomes, and quality metrics to project leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and quality assurance standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues while working closely with development teams
Requirements
Required skills, experience, etc.: MUST HAVE Copado Robotics Automation Testing experience. Do NOT submit candidates without.
3+ years of QA automation experience, hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Must have: Copado Robotics. Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks., * Specific test automation tools and framework requirements by Copado Robotics
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Experience developing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages used for test automation
- Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Delaware as required by the client
Preferred:
- Experience testing robotics, embedded systems, or hardware-integrated software
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
- Experience with version control systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
