Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote - Contract - 6 months - Outside

Our client, a well-established name in business technology solutions across the Energy, Public, and Finance sectors, is currently driving major transformational change and needs an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join the team. This role centres on leading customers through detailed discovery, shaping hybrid infrastructure solutions that span on-premise, private, and public cloud, and taking ownership of technical delivery from initial concept through to go-live., * Lead customers through detailed discovery sessions to build a clear picture of their existing environments

• Design tailored, end-to-end hybrid infrastructure solutions across on-premise, private cloud, and public cloud platforms
• Put together detailed delivery plans and timelines that match client requirements and project scope
• Take charge of technical delivery, coordinating both internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth deployment
• Facilitate discovery workshops, converting client requirements into high- and low-level technical designs
• Build solutions using technologies from Dell, Nutanix, Cisco, Microsoft, and AWS
• Partner closely with sales, delivery, and vendor teams to drive strong project outcomes
• Keep pace with emerging technology trends across the industry
• Act as a go-to advisor for customers navigating digital transformation and AI adoption

• Solid grounding in hyperconverged infrastructure, enterprise compute and storage, backup and recovery, networking and security, and cloud platforms
• Track record of designing hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Strong understanding of virtualisation, backup, disaster recovery, and security best practice
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of the broader industry landscape
• Flexible and adaptable approach to change
