Golang Microservices

Job description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go
Take ownership of key backend components from design through to deployment
Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions
Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, databases, and backend services
Contribute to architectural decisions around performance, scalability, and security
Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to deploy and maintain services
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising engineering standards

Requirements

4-6 years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with Go
Proven experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs

Experience with microservices architecture

We are hiring a Backend Developer to take ownership of key backend systems, work primarily in Go and AWS, and help mentor junior engineers as our team grows. This is a permanent position based in London with 1-2 days per week on-site, and the salary is £80,000-£90,000.
