Job description
SimCorp GAIN role (often titled as a Software Engineer, Data Management Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst) focuses on managing enterprise reference data, maintaining security master files, and optimizing inbound market data workflows using the SimCorp GAIN data management platform (formerly AIM Gain).
Core Responsibilities
Data Management: Oversee inbound reference data, market data, and security master repositories within SimCorp GAIN.
System Support & Development: Build, configure, and support custom components, data pipelines, and scheduled processes (using C#, SQL, or scripting tools).
Workflow & Integration: Ensure smooth data distribution from SimCorp GAIN to downstream enterprise investment systems like SimCorp Dimension.
Troubleshooting: Resolve data quality issues, automate environment tasks, and optimize database query performance.
Requirements
Technical Skills: Strong experience with SimCorp GAIN/AIM, relational databases (Oracle/SQL), and scripting or programming languages (C#, PowerShell, or Unix/SQL scripts).Domain Knowledge: Understanding of investment management operations, mutual funds, and asset data workflows.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
