job summary: Seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a high growth DoW contractor in the Dallas, TX area.

The Embedded Software Engineer would be responsible for you will design, develop, and integrate real-time embedded software for advanced electro-optical and infrared sensor systems used on military airborne, ground vehicle, and soldier platform applications.

responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, implement, and debug real-time embedded C/C++ software targeting microprocessors, DSPs, and MPSoCs.
  • HW/SW Integration: Perform low-level board bring-up, hardware/software co-design, and system-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG emulators.
  • Architecture & Drivers: Develop device drivers and interface protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet, CAN) for sensor control, video streaming, and data processing.
  • Lifecycle Support: Participate in the full software development lifecycle-including requirements analysis, architecture, code reviews, automated unit testing, and software verification.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with FPGA, Systems, and Hardware teams to define interfaces and optimize real-time system performance.
