SCADA Integration Engineer

We are seeking a SCADA Integration Engineer to support the integration, configuration, testing, and commissioning of control and monitoring systems for utility-scale renewable energy and power infrastructure projects. This individual will work closely with Controls Engineering, Systems Deployment, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration between field devices, metering systems, RTACs, PLCs, and SCADA platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SEL RTACs, SCADA integration, energy metering systems, and industrial communication protocols such as DNP3, along with a strong understanding of power systems and utility-scale energy projects., * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

• 3-5+ years of experience with SCADA, industrial automation, controls integration, or power systems engineering.
• Experience supporting utility, renewable energy, BESS, solar, or power infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with SEL RTACs and SEL communications products.
• Experience integrating and configuring energy metering systems, including:

1. Bachmann meters
2. SEL meters
3. Nexus meters

• Hands-on experience with DNP3 protocol.
• Experience with PLCs, RTACs, field devices, and SCADA systems. Experience supporting Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar facilities, substations, or renewable energy projects.

Knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 61850, and other utility communication protocols.

Experience with commissioning and startup of utility-scale energy facilities.

Familiarity with power calculations, metering validation, and grid interconnection requirements
