Sr. Software Engineer, AWS Marketplace

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Are you excited to build products that are used by Amazon customers all over the world? As a Sr. Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers to create the customer facing AI based softwares. You’ll collaborate with team members, Product and business stakeholders on full software development lifecycle, including scoping, software design, code, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance., lead ambiguous and complex areas that directly impact AWS customer.

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.

• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
