Computer Systems Architect - Secret Clearance

This person spends their time architecting and maintaining the development ecosystem that allows software teams to efficiently build, test, and deploy applications. Their day includes managing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting integration issues, standing up development and test environments, automating deployment and testing processes, coordinating with software and systems engineers, and ensuring applications meet performance, security, and reliability requirements before release. They act as the bridge between development, testing, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure software moves smoothly from code development through system integration and deployment.

Active Secret Clearance STEM Degree Ability to work fully onsite in Huntsville, AL Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and development toolchains to support continuous software delivery. Experience managing automated deployments, build verification processes, and continuous integration (CI) environments. Experience performing end-to-end integration and system-level testing across complex software systems. Experience validating system performance against non-functional requirements, including security, scalability, reliability, and speed. Experience designing and implementing automated testing solutions, including smoke testing and regression testing frameworks. Experience provisioning and maintaining development, test, UAT, and production environments in physical, virtual, or cloud-based infrastructures.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting large-scale DoD, aerospace, missile defense, or other mission-critical systems. Experience with cloud infrastructure and environment management in AWS, Azure, or similar platforms. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Experience developing automated test frameworks and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience troubleshooting complex integration issues across software, hardware, network, and infrastructure components. Experience supporting Agile software development teams and DevSecOps initiatives. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure software deployment methodologies. Experience with system architecture, systems engineering, or enterprise application integration.
