  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
  • Write or review software and system documentation
  • Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
  • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components

to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance

  • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
  • Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team products
  • Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software

Develops and automates secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense and full spectrum cyber operations.Conducts vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams), develops and integrates low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements. Applies system knowledge of subject matter (hardware, software, networks, cloud, etc.) to conduct research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university or Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph.
  • Minimum Fifteen (15) years of experience Software Engineer (SWE), * General Python scripting and large Python systems design/development
  • C/C++ systems design/development
  • Scripting languages (Bash, awk, sed, powershell)
  • RF Signals Familiarity

## Desired Skills

  • STM32 microcontroller software development experience
  • Familiarity with STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeProgrammer, STM32CubeMonitor)
  • Work with Raspberry Pi4, 5 series products
  • Hardware solutions breadboarding, debug and related tools (multimeter, etc)
  • Familiarity with silicon digital logic devices (demux, mux, gating, etc)
  • RF Signals analysis tools, test tools, and their usage (FieldFox, Spectrum analyzer)
  • Customer AI web services (both networks)

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
