Job description
Description : NCDIT-T Web Systems is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related components within the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
The candidate will need to come on-site on the first day to collect equipment. All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina. This position may require on-site attendance when business needs warrant in-person participation, such as scheduled meetings or other task-specific activities., Support ongoing application maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting issues and performing routine updates. Complete assigned development or configuration work according to project requirements and timelines. Communicate progress, blockers, and technical findings to management and other team members in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal staff to ensure smooth integration of tasks and handoffs. Meet with customers to gather requirements, answer questions, and help ensure their delivered product operates smoothly. Maintain accurate documentation of changes, fixes, and enhancements for future reference and team continuity.
Requirements
NCDIT-T Web Systems is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related components within the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The developer will create scalable applications, automated workflows, and integrated solutions that support productivity and operational efficiency for NCDOT users and customers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power Apps (both canvas and model driven), Power Automate flow design, and creating robust solutions that incorporate SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services. Candidates should be comfortable integrating Power Platform solutions with external APIs, databases, and third party systems through custom connectors and advanced automation. Knowledge of Power Platform governance, security best practices, environment management, ALM processes, and deployment strategies across development and production is required. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration or workflow issues are essential for success in this role.
This is not a Power Platform administration role, but ideal candidates will have experience deploying solutions and working within Power Platform environments as well as Azure DevOps. Preferred: Microsoft certifications including PL-900, Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Hands on Microsoft Power Platform development including deploying solutions to environments Required 3 Years Microsoft Power Automate for creating workflows across M365 and integrating with other systems Required 6 Years Microsoft Power Apps Required 4 Years SharePoint Required 3 Years Microsoft 365 Required 5 Years
