Requirements

Experience Details Required/Preferred 10+ years Experience as a network engineer implementing complex networks interfacing with terrestrial and satellite telecommunications infrastructures including telecommunications networks (Internet protocols, routing, queuing, effects of delay and packet loss, etc.). Required 2+ years Experience evaluating satellite baseband hardware, software, and terminals running both voice and data applications. Preferred 8+ years Experience with internet optimization products/ appliances such as caching, pre-fetch, compression, and others. Preferred 2+ years Experience in configuration, test, and optimization of satellite terminals in maritime/mobility applications. Preferred 10+ years Experience in least one major manufacture such as Palo Alto, Versa, Juniper, Dell, HPE/Aruba and Cisco for Layer 2/3 network switching, wireless Network technology, Firewall technology, SDN and WAN. Required 10+ years Experience with TCP/IP, SSL, LACP, LLDP/CDP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, HSRP, GLBP, SNMP, STP, VPC, VSS, VDC, MSDP, PIM, IGMP, RTP, SIP, H.323, LWAPP, RADIUS, TACACS+, and various 802.11 wireless standards, WiFi6, VXLAN, DNS, DHCP protocols. Required 5+ years Experience with Netscaler and F5 Application Delivery Controllers. Required 3+ years Experience using google earth (kml format) and or any other relevant mapping software to create coverage maps. Preferred 10+ years Experience in Operational Support and/or Service Delivery. Required 10+ years Experience with network equipment, testing, troubleshooting, and specification of hardware and software. Required 10+ years Experience in supporting installations, upgrades, and system integration efforts. Required 2+ years Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for network configuration deployment and validation using Azure Dev Ops. Required 5+ years Experience collaborating with a vendor to create a SOW and managing their scope, delivery, and budget. Required 5+ years Experience planning and leading large projects. Required 10+ years Experience in ITIL and IT project management via various SDLCs (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) Required 5+ years Experience informally leading cross-functional technology teams.
