Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client in the healthcare sector is launching a new initiative focused on strengthening preventive healthcare through evidence-based medical guidelines and scientific data. The project aims to identify personalized prevention signals and communicate them to members and/or healthcare providers, covering all stages of prevention. To support this initiative, a new autonomous and dynamic team is being built. The platform will be developed on AWS, and the team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will contribute to building and developing the different application components. Role & Responsibilities Contribute to building application components of the platform on AWS Develop backend logic and potentially some frontend components Translate business requirements into pragmatic and maintainable applications Ensure quality, performance, and cost efficiency Contribute to a strong DevOps culture within the team Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making

Senior Software / DevOps Engineer with broad and deep technical expertise Strong experience with AWS (certification is a plus) Full-stack mindset with experience in TypeScript, Python, and Angular Experience with TDD and a strong focus on continuous improvement Architectural mindset and experience with high-performance systems handling large transaction volumes Knowledge of technologies such as Aurora, DynamoDB, Athena, Apache Parquet, Airflow, ETL, or big data processing is considered a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Languages Fluent in Dutch or French, with understanding of the other language English required for collaboration with partners
