The Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll tackle complex technical challenges across the full software development lifecycle. From designing secure, scalable applications to delivering AI-assisted solutions, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of clinical technology. Working across frontend, backend, and cloud technologies, you’ll help modernise clinical trial delivery and improve patient recruitment. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and deliver scalable software solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Build applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Shape cloud infrastructure using AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Influence architecture, engineering standards, and technical decisions.

Must-Have:

• Commercial experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience developing backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS.

• Strong communication skills with a collaborative, product-focused approach. Nice-to-Have:

• Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or regulated software environments.
• Knowledge of clinical trial platforms, medical data, or healthcare technology.
• Exposure to AI, large language models, or AI-assisted software development.
