SAP Finance Transformation Consultant

An established international technology and transformation consultancy is seeking an SAP Finance Transformation Consultant to support clients across Germany with the optimisation, harmonisation and digital transformation of Finance and Controlling processes.

This role combines:

• SAP Finance transformation
• Finance and Controlling process optimisation
• SAP S/4HANA Finance
• SAP FI and CO/PS
• Solution design and implementation
• Client and project consulting

You will:

• Develop digital transformation strategies and solutions for complex challenges within the public sector and energy industry.
• Advise clients on the optimisation and harmonisation of Finance and Controlling processes.
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Support the implementation of Finance and Controlling processes within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Contribute across the transformation lifecycle, including strategy, solution design and technical implementation.
• Support the continued development of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions and the broader SAP Business Suite on HANA environment.
• Take responsibility for coordinating and delivering individual project workstreams.
• Work collaboratively with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to SAP Finance transformation., * A consulting role focused on SAP Finance transformation within the public sector and energy industry.

• A successful university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Initial professional experience in consulting, industry or the public sector.
• Solid knowledge of Finance, Controlling or IT related business processes.
• Practical application and implementation experience with SAP FI and CO/PS.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance would be advantageous.
• The ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• A structured and independent approach to managing project responsibilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional fluency in German.
