Job description

Directs, leads, and provides vision for the College’s technology resources in support of the College’s mission. Ensures resources are used to connect and support learning, student success and the business functions of the College. The Executive Director is responsible for the development, advancement and integration of the College’s Campus Technology services (CT). Creates a close and highly collaborative working relationship with the college community to ensure that the College is technologically advanced, secure, and positioned for continuous improvement. Explores and develops emerging technologies providing learners with the most current and well-designed technologies available.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, This position is within the Professional Administrators Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment. All employment offers are contingent upon a successful background check., Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent with five (5) years of related experience or an Associate’s degree with seven (7) years of related experience. Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects., Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Additional training or experience in communications/telecommunications, information security and networking is desirable.

  • Retirement plan, EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $87,214 - $130,820. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes a NYS retirement benefit option or generous employer match to 414 retirement plan, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by the College, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with 16 holidays, 20 vacation and 12 sick days per year along with tuition assistance and ability of application to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in addition to other benefits offered by the College.
