Senior Staff Network Engineering Manager, Enterprise Network Engineering and Testing

• Provide technical and thought leadership to improve the whole life-cycle of Google’s Office and Data Center Enterprise networks from inception and design to qualification and validation through deployment, operation, and optimization.
• Identify broad problems proactively and translate these into projects and work for your teams.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure development of end-to-end network solutions for Alphabet.
• Advocate for and build a great team culture that foster openness and collaboration.
• Grow and retain a various set of talent, providing technical direction and career guidance and manage other managers.

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 15 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
• 3 years of experience managing and building teams.
• Experience in testing and test automation of network designs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).
• Knowledge of software engineering standards and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and identify problems and issues across organizations and create programs and processes to solve them.
