Requirements
8+ years of overall professional development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with MuleSoft CloudHub and API Management.
Proven experience orchestrating complex integration use cases involving multiple systems and business logic across the API-led layers (System, Process, and Experience).
Experience working as a core developer within Scrum or Kanban teams, accurately estimating and delivering story points.
Core MuleSoft Development & Fundamentals:
Service Development: Expertise in designing and developing enterprise services using RAML, REST-based APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
Protocol Mastery: Deep understanding of REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Programming Languages: Strong professional experience in Java, C++, or C#. Experience with Groovy is a significant plus.
Data Transformation: Expert-level ability to use DataWeave 2.0 for transforming complex data structures.
API Management: Skill in configuring APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics based on technical specifications within MuleSoft API Manager.
Connector Expertise: Proficiency in utilizing standard and custom mule connectors, specifically Salesforce, Database, HTTP/S, FTP, and Object Store.
Security & Policies: Experience applying standard security policies (OAuth, Rate Limiting, Throttling) and configuring API Autodiscovery.
CI/CD Integration: Advanced experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, Git, and MuleSoft-specific deployment tools.
MUnit Framework: Mandatory skill in creating automated unit and integration tests with high code coverage to ensure production stability.
Deployment & Monitoring: Experience deploying applications to CloudHub and monitoring application health using Anypoint Monitoring or CloudHub logs.
Troubleshooting: Strong ability to perform root-cause analysis, debug flows in Anypoint Studio, and resolve complex mapping or connectivity errors.
Technical Documentation: Skill in maintaining clear documentation for API specifications, mapping logic, and technical design notes.
Professional Pluses: Prior experience on the Salesforce platform.
MuleSoft Certification (Developer or Integration Associate).
