Java/J2EE Specialist

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Java/J2EE Specialist on behalf of our client in [Location] We are looking for an experienced Java/J2EE professional with a strong background in financial services and hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, J2EE technologies, and relational databases. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to develop scalable solutions supporting trade analytics, trade capture, reporting, reconciliation, pooling, and securitization. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to define requirements and design technology solutions for financial applications.
• Develop, prototype, integrate, and test enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Work closely with business partners and technical teams to deliver solutions within tight deadlines.
• Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Support production issues, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc requests for business stakeholders.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop reliable and maintainable code following established development standards.

• 8+ years of professional IT/software development experience.
• Strong financial services or finance industry background.
• 7 10 years of experience with Java/J2EE, including Servlets, JSP, and JDBC.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Advanced Java, and Spring Framework.
• 7 10 years of experience with relational databases such as Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.
• 3 5 years of experience with Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and Eclipse.
• 3 5 years of experience developing and executing JUnit tests using Mockito.
• Strong understanding of software design, development, integration, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
