Job description

Hourly: $28-$35

  • Generate recommended spare parts lists (RSPLs) for future operators of PW aircraft to ensure they have spare engine parts on-hand to avoid AOG situations.
  • Work with Category 1 suppliers to procure relevant information for vendor supplied hardware.
  • Apply engineering changes to Initial Provisioning database for all GTF engine models using Teamcenter / NX.
  • Perform tech checks for Initial Provisioning orders to ensure operators are ordering correct hardware for their engine fleet.
  • Generate forecasts for demand planning group to ensure material delivery occurs on time and on schedule.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tiered queries that come in from Fleet Directors and Field Service reps. Offer and create resolutions and close gaps efficiently to ensure support for operators., Under general direction, determines the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule. Initiates purchase or production requisitions as appropriate. May be expected to give direction and guidance to other Material Planners. Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience in configuration management, engineering, delivery assurance, and supply chain.
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Access & Outlook).
  • Experience with Pratt & Whitney systems and SAP transaction codes a huge plus.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3-5 years’ experience preferred, Data Query, Supply Chain, Microsoft Outlook, Databasing, Microsoft Excel
