TDL - Embedded Software Engineer 2

Develop, execute, and automate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation activities for embedded control systems

• Focus on dSPACE-based test environments for system-level verification
• Automate test procedures and validate electronic control software/hardware
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in embedded systems
• Read and interpret schematics and component datasheets
• Apply knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, specification, development, testing, and delivery
• Program in C or C++ for embedded systems
• Use computer development tools such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc., as they relate to embedded systems
• Work extensively with dSPACE HIL systems, ECU validation, and embedded controls testing
• Employ MATLAB/Simulink for model-based development
• Create and execute Python automation scripts for test and data analysis
• Utilize CAN/J1939 networks, UDS diagnostics, and Vector tools for hardware troubleshooting and debugging
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with team members and stakeholders
• Provide excellent problem solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills
