Job description

We are looking for a high-impact Cleared Software Developer to spearhead critical product integrations within our federal division.

In this capacity, you will architect and implement sophisticated integrated solutions, leveraging REST APIs, advanced scripting, and specialized product configurations. You will play a pivotal role in developing bespoke plugins for the Xage Fabric platform and other industry-leading security products.

You will drive high-impact workflows across systems engineering, distributed infrastructure, and advanced zero-trust architecture, applying specialized expertise to engineer mission-critical integration solutions., * Web Technology & UI Integration: Integrate backend integration services with modern web frontends and dashboards utilizing web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript) and webhooks.

  • Identity-Aware Proxy Integration: Build configurations for reverse proxy that enables access to web applications behind fire-walls using advance methods of dynamic code injection, credential handling, IFRames and header injections
  • REST API Integrations & Management: Build direct or indirect integration of systems and data using secure robust RESTful APIs from discovery tools, PAM platforms, and internal dashboards.
  • PAM Plugin Development: Develop, customize, and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) plugins to automate credential rotation, vault management, and secure session brokering.
  • Data Transformation & Security: Ensure secure data payloads (JSON, XML) using modern authentication and authorization standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mTLS.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve synchronization failures, API latency issues, and plugin exceptions across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Asset Discovery Integration: Design and implement automated asset discovery pipelines leveraging custom scripts, network scanning tools, CMDB APIs, and vendor-specific APIs to map and inventory enterprise infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2- 5+ years of software development experience, with a heavy emphasis on backend integration, API design, and security engineering.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful architecture principles, API gateways, rate limiting, versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
  • Experience interacting with asset discovery, ITAM (IT Asset Management), or CMDB APIs (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, AWS/Azure inventory services).
  • Familiarity developing or configuring plugins/connectors for Privileged Access Management solutions.
  • Proficiency in modern web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, Webhooks) and backend languages (Python, Node.js, Go, or Java).
  • Solid grasp of credential management, encryption standards, IAM workflows, OAuth, SAML, and API security best practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
