This is the highest-volume build track in the engagement, spanning the Foundation, Build, and Scale phases. Responsibilities

Build and maintain ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, and dbt without degrading data freshness or load windows.
-
Develop Snowpark-based Python and SQL transformation workloads under the Database Architect’s design standards.
-
Onboard new source systems identified in the Data Source Inventory throughout the Build and Scale phases.
-
Implement data quality checks and resolve pipeline issues identified during sprint reviews.
-
Support the Data Scientist and Data Visualization Engineer with clean, governed, analysis-ready data sets.
-
Participate in two-week sprint ceremonies and contribute to sprint reporting and the risk register.
-
Experience with S3 External Stages and secure AWS-to-Snowflake data movement.
-
Knowledge of AWS KMS encryption and high-volume Snowflake ingestion patterns.
-
Understanding of MuleSoft data consumption and integration architectures.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
-
5+ years of data engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
-
Hands-on production experience with Snowflake; SnowPro Core certification preferred.
-
Experience with dbt and modern ELT/ETL pipeline design and orchestration.
-
Exposure to AWS data services a plus.
-
Comfortable working in a two-week Agile sprint cadence with transparent, COR-facing reporting.
