Job description

We are seeking an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, API testing, UI automation, and microservices testing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Karate, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, and API testing, along with experience developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and microservices-based applications.

Develop UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
Perform API testing using Karate, Postman, and other API automation tools.
Create and execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and system-level test scenarios.
Test REST APIs and microservices, including service-to-service integrations and data validation.
Implement BDD-based testing using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar frameworks.
Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects while working closely with developers and business teams.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated tests are integrated into the software delivery process.
Perform performance and load testing using JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
Develop and execute mobile application automation using Appium.
Work with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Execute automated tests in containerized environments using Docker.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in QA/SDET and test automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Karate, Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman.
Strong knowledge of API testing and automation.
Experience with UI automation and web application testing.
Strong experience testing microservices and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, especially Cucumber and/or SpecFlow.
Experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner for performance testing.
Experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
Understanding of Docker and containerization.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills., * Experience building or enhancing enterprise-level automation frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated quality gates.
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, or similar development/DevOps tools.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.
Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
