Job description

The Senior IT Manager / VP partners directly with the CIO to drive IT strategy, governance, and execution across the enterprise. This leader ensures a secure, compliant, and resilient technology environment while acting as a trusted extension of the CIO. Key Responsibilities · IT Strategy - Execute enterprise IT strategy and support long-term technology planning. · Infrastructure Performance - Ensure uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement of core IT services. · Major Incident Command - Lead critical incident response, communication, RCA, and remediation. · IT Financial Stewardship - Manage budgets, forecasts, tech investments, and resource allocation. · Regulatory Compliance - Maintain alignment with NYDFS, FFIEC, cybersecurity standards, and internal policies. · Risk Management - Partner with Security and Operational Risk to identify and mitigate IT risks. · Vendor & Audit Oversight - Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and Head Office technology teams. · Executive Reporting - Deliver clear, concise IT updates and metrics to senior leadership.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s in CS, IS, or related field (Master’s preferred). · 10-15 years IT experience in banking or regulated financial services. · 4+ years in IT leadership with ability to act for the CIO. · Knowledge of banking platforms (Summit, Montran, Swift, Midas, Actimize). · Strong grounding in infrastructure, IT governance (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory frameworks. · Expertise in Windows/VMware, Dell PowerStore, Cohesity, networking, monitoring, and ITSM. · Exceptional communication skills; able to simplify complex technical topics. · Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills. · Proven experience in IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
