Network Administrator Assistant

Essential Functions:

• Be able to do the duties of a Network and System Specialist.

• Familiarity with Apple OS and Window OS environments.
• Diagnose and repair Hardware/Software problems.

• Proficient in Gmail, Google Drive, and Google app suites.

• Installing and maintaining networks and hardware systems

• Diagnosing network problems and repairing issues with connectivity

• Managing permissions

• Have an understanding of Network wiring standards and methods.

• Understanding of Basic Electricity and Electronics

• Responsible for all aspects of the district’s network and computer systems

• Monitoring networks to maintain availability and speed

• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment and security.

• Managing Google educational environment through the google admin console.

• Managing backup systems for the network

• Maintain network servers of both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

• Knowledge of network and server cybersecurity methods and implantation

• Server scripting experience.

• Carry out all other duties as assigned.

• 2 or more years of progressively responsible experience as a network and systems technician or related area required, The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability. The individual must be able to travel between district facilities. The position requires a moderate amount of travel, both in and out of the district.
