IT Risk focus is to drive Information Technology risk management throughout the organization and supporting the execution of ING business strategy by unleashing the power of our data (digital and data driven IT Risk Metrics), risk expertise, and people to keep the bank safe and secure. The Global CoE IT & Cyber Risk Management department is the linking pin between the IT control delivery organizations with its IT Process Owners, the 1st line ING entities and domains managing IT environments and IT processes locally, 2nd line Non-Financial Risk, 3rd line Corporate Audit Services and external auditors and regulators. Next to that Global IT Risk will centrally design, develop and maintain IT Risk tooling and IT Risk metric dashboards. The Global CoE IT & Cyber Risk Management department will act as a partner for the IT control delivery organizations, containing the IT Process Owners and 1st line ING entities and domains managing IT environments and IT processes locally. Towards the IT control delivery organizations Global IT Risk will have an advisory, consulting, and review role regarding the correct and complete delivery of the process control standards. As well as related documents (for instance quality criteria and key control test plans), and the delivery of priority-one key control metrics based on automation. Towards the CTO of ING and the local ING entities Global IT Risk will have an advice and consulting role. Next to that Global IT Risk will set the reporting standards and guidelines and the local IT Risk department will implement these standards and guidelines to support the local CIO in order to report out the local IT Risk posture. The Global CoE IT & Cyber Risk Management department will be act as a 1st line IT Risk partner of 2nd line Non-Financial Risk, 3rd line Corporate Audit Services and external auditors and regulators. The team You will be joining at team of IT Risk Specialists and Experts with various backgrounds in IT Security, IT Audit and IT Risk Management, but it is also a multi-cultural team. The team works together closely on all the aspects of the task as described in the job profile. We have an open and honest atmosphere and always go the extra mile to get the job done. Obviously without losing eye for the wellness of each individual team member. The Global CoE IT & Cyber Risk Management department will be located in Amsterdam. Roles and responsibilities We are looking for a colleague who is not afraid of working in a highly fluid organization and has the capability to structure and organize. As the Global CoE IT & Cyber Risk Management department will have contacts around the ING globe, from senior management, IT experts to engineers, also cultural and situational awareness is adamant. The Global CoE IT & Cyber Risk Management department will be located in Amsterdam.

  • 4 - 8 years’ experience in IT Audit or IT Risk Management.
  • In depth knowledge of IT Risk Management processes and reporting.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work across both functional and geographical lines.
  • Pro-activeness and persuasiveness.
  • Good analytical skills and sound judgment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Travelling is possible in this position.
