We are still looking for the very Top Talent…and we would be delighted if you were to join our team!Obtenga más información sobre las tareas generales relacionadas con esta oportunidad a continuación, así como sobre las habilidades requeridas.More in detail, UST is a multinational company based in North America, certified as a Top Employer and Great Place to Work, with more than 35,000 employees worldwide and presence in over 35 countries.We are leaders in digital technology services, providing large-scale technological solutions to major global organizations.What we look for?We are currently looking for an Application Responsible (AR) & System Architect to join a strategic project in the banking sector, working with a critical internal application based on the Actico Rules technology stack.Hybrid Model in Madrid (3x2) Key Responsibilities: Take end-to-end ownership of a critical business application, ensuring availability, stability, and performance.Act as the main point of contact for operational, technical, and functional stakeholders.Perform application health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning activities.Coordinate incident management, change requests, and risk assessments.Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.Maintain accurate application documentation, runbooks, and service records.Drive application lifecycle activities, including modernization, rationalization, or decommissioning initiatives.Validate technical requirements and non-functional requirements (NFRs).Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on solution design and architecture evolution.Ensure compliance with security standards, cloud-first strategies, and integration guidelines.Identify technical debt, scalability challenges, and modernization opportunities.Promote the adoption of reusable enterprise services and best practices.Mandatory Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Proven experience supporting front-office and/or middle-office banking applications.Strong knowledge of: Application monitoring tools Integration patterns (Web Services, Message Queues, File Transfer) Database schema design, SQL, query optimization, and log analysis Git version control Jira or similar ticketing tools Practical understanding of enterprise architecture principles and secure design patterns.Hands-on experience with Java-based systems and development environments.Experience with Oracle Database and SQL.Knowledge of Actico platform operations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.Ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and teamwork orientation.Professional English communication skills Nice to Have: Experience within Compliance or Regulatory domains.Certifications or training related to Visual Rules / Actico Rules.Experience in cloud migration initiatives.Knowledge of observability, API design, and modern integration architectures.German language skills.What can we offer?23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!Numerous benefits (Health Care Plan, Internet Connectivity, Life and Accident Insurances).`Retribución Flexible ?
